Is Shield free to use?

Yes, basic registration and IMEI lookup is completely free. Shield's core mission is to protect every Nigerian phone owner regardless of income.

How do I find my IMEI number?

Dial *#06# on your phone to display the IMEI instantly. You can also find it in Settings → About Phone, or on the box your phone came in.

What happens when I report a stolen phone?

Your device is immediately flagged in the Shield database. Anyone who checks that IMEI will see it's reported stolen. You'll also get a notification if the phone is ever scanned or registered by someone else.
